You may have read in an earlier post that the U.S. government does not regulate the safety of cosmetics.  Many common cosmetic ingredients are harmful to people and the environment.  The Story of Stuff Project released, The Story of Cosmetics video giving us a glimpse of what is really in our cosmetics.  Any company can put an organic or natural label on their product.  The best way to ensure you are buying a true organic product is to purchase USDA Certified Organic.
